Looking forward to seeing Cadillac’s SRX replacement? XT5, the firm’s new compact crossover, will make its world debut at the Dubai International Motor Show. Which is quite a coup for us Dubai-ians, seeing as as how it’s globally the best-selling Cadillac. Yes, more than the ATS, even more than the mighty Escalade.
Strictly speaking, it isn’t actually making its debut at the show; noted fashion brand Public School is having its first international fashion show the night before the Motor Show opens its doors. So if you have a pass to that, you’ll be able to check out the XT5.
Look for the XT5 to sport Caddy’s ubiquitous 300bhp 3.6-litre V6 under the hood, as well as a 2.0-litre, all mated to eight speed transmissions. You can also expect the next generation of the CUE telematics system, and some other surprises which Caddy will be keeping well under wraps until the show.
