2015 Nissan Juke launched with a big party!
Nissan goes all urban lifestyle to introduce its funky revised Nissan Juke for 2015
By Shahzad Sheikh
I attended a massive party at the Dubai Autodrome on Thursday night featuring Electric Days, where Nissan revealed the subtly revised 2015 Nissan Juke in a most unconventional manner. There was no driving involved, but there was loud music, dancing, amazing graffiti art and interactive displays. You could even create and printout your own Juke T-Shirts and try your hand at racing it in a simulator.
Certainly a lively, fun and different way to launch a car!
It certainly looks very familiar though and engine choices remain 1.6 and 1.6 Trubo with 115bhp and 188bhp. But changes include new upper front laps with LED daytime running lights, revised grilled, tougher under bumper trim, restyle door mirrors with LED repeaters, rear-view camera and tweaked taillights. They’ve managed to find more space in the luggage compartment with a two-tiered floor.
Standard features include cloth upholstery, four-speaker CD/MP3 stereo with AUX port, power windows, electric mirrors, rear-view camera and the 60/40 folding rear seats.
Also available is leather upholstery, NissanConnect, sunroof, fog lamps, automatic a/c and intelligent keyless entry with starter button.
Safety features include front airbags, ABS disc brakes with EBD, and stability control and optional side-curtain airbags.
Prices range from $17,970 (AED66k) to $23,140 (AED85k).
